In Mark Driscoll’s talk “Ministry Idolatry” at the Advance 09 Conference in early June, he spoke of our idolatry in this way:
We take a good thing, make it a God thing, and that’s a bad thing.

Aren’t those talks awesome? Driscoll and Chandler especially. Driscoll hits on idolotry over and over through his current sermon series as well (Peter 1 & 2). It has changed my life. Hope you are all well!

You were comforted? You really must have listened to a lot of messages–it took me till the third day of the conference to feel comforted!

Thanks Ken & Cheryl. We are are well, but miss our friends in Tidewater. Ken, I was comforted by the Gospel, convicted by my sin, and challenged in my ministry here at North Hills.
