Ikea Visit

Part of our quick (and I mean quick) trip to Washington DC was to visit the Ikea store at Potomoc Mills.  We enjoyed wandering around the store and decided to purchase the piece below to help us with our playroom rehab (new paint, carpet), which should be complete in a few weeks.

We have this turned over on its side and bought four plastic bins/cubes that fit perfectly in the holes.  This was just one of the fun parts of our trip and we are really enjoying this in the playroom.

Enjoying your children’s playroom is essential. Making space for your kiddos is crucial as is separating some of their things from your own. I think there’s much to be said about having a healthy “kid zone” and “adult zone” in the house. Wish we were there and could babysit one night for you guys (and then you could return the favor some other night for us :))

Though we didn’t know it when we bought our house, having the separate areas has been incredibly important for our sanity.

Ditto to your last sentence…more than you know.
